Several of you have requested to hear from Spot more regularly. You asked, we answered (and are very flattered!). Here it is, your first monthly roundup of Spot product updates, and DEI-related content, as well as your organization’s very own Spot statistics.

New from Spot

  • Video tutorials: Spot cofounder and Head of Product Daniel produced several walkthrough videos of Spot. Some of these are most relevant to new Spot users, but veteran Spot customers may want to review What to Do When You Receive a Spot Report. Find the videos in your Spot dashboard or here on YouTube.
  • Okta and OneLogin integrations: In addition to Zenefits, Spot can now integrate with Okta and OneLogin to sync your employee information for training. We also do custom integrations with Workday and offer an out-of-the-box notifications integration with Slack.
  • Add open-door conversations as reports: Did someone come talk to you directly about an issue at work? You can now enter a Spot report from the dashboard and manage it just like your other cases submitted by employees. Use the Add report button in your dashboard Inbox.
  • Extended usage stats: You can now see how far individuals make it through their chat with Spot. Go to Case Management > Usage in the dashboard and scroll down to see a breakdown of traffic in your Spot interviews.
  • Customize survey questions: If you use Spot’s harassment prevention training, you can now customize, add, and remove the survey questions that appear at the end of the episodes. Go to Training > Content in the dashboard and click Edit on the training episode thumbnails to view and edit questions.
  • New languages: In addition to English, Spanish, French, and German, Spot is now available in Dutch!
  • Self-service signup: Has it ever been possible to simply sign up for an HR tool online? Well, it is now. Organizations using Spot’s Case Management Pro or Case Management Unlimited can get set up entirely online and customize their Spot instance in the dashboard.
